If you want the low-down on poker, blackjack, video poker or slots, check the other pages on this site. Here you will find everything you need to know about roulette, baccarat, craps, keno and bingo. They may not be the most popular of casino games with bonuses but they still draw large crowds and stakes.

Online Roulette

If you consider yourself an individual with class, look no further than roulette. It started out as a game to bring in large groups of wealthy people but now only needs a little bit of luck and a desire to win. The object of the game is to guess which slotted number on the roulette wheel that the ball will land on. The wheel is spun and the ball slides in from the opposite direction of the spin. Usually, up to six people can play and most American casinos have double zero wheel, though single zero ones still exist. The double zero curbs the advantage more to the house. Europe uses single zero wheels for the most part. Your bets are placed on a common table layout corresponding to a number, series of numbers, or color (red or black) on the roulette wheel. The dealer accepts bets in between spins and usually even after dropping the ball if it hasn’t started to slow down yet. Below are the types of bets you can make.

  • Straight Bet: choosing one number; 37 to 1 odds of winning; 35:1 payout.
  • Split Bet: choosing two numbers on the layout by placing the chip on the line separating the two numbers; you win if either number comes up so the payout is 17:1.
  • Street Bet: choosing a row of three consecutive numbers by placing the chip on the outside line of the row; you win on either three numbers so the payout is 11:1.
  • Corner Bet: choosing four numbers by placing the chip on the corner of four numbers on the layout; doesn’t cover consecutive numbers; payout of 8: 1.
  • Five-Number Bet: covers 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3; also called the “top-line bet”; has house edge of more than 7%; payout of 6:1.
  • Six-Number Bet (or Line Bet): covers two rows of three consecutive numbers by placing the chip on the outside line touching two rows; payout of 5:1.
  • Even Money Bet: covers red or black, odd or even, or low (1-18) or high (19-36) numbers; payout of 1:1.
  • Column Bet: covers one of three columns of 12 numbers; payout of 2:1.
  • Dozen Bet: covers one of three sets of 12 numbers like a column bet but is divided by 1-12, 13-24 and 25-36; payout of 2:1.

Baccarat Online

Baccarat may seem complex at first but it really is quite simple. The object of the card game is to get a total of 9, or as closest to it as possible, in two or three cards. Cards 2-9 are face value, aces count as 1, and 10s and face cards count as 0. If the face value of two cards total more than 9, 10 is subtracted from that total. For example, an 8 and a 4 equals 2 (12 minus 10). The hand is limited to three cards and the player is not allowed to take a third card if the total of the first two is 6 or higher. There can be up to 14 players and you can bet on the banker’s hand, your hand, or a tie.

Online Craps

If you want a party, craps could be your game. Possibly the loudest game on the casino floor, it’s a place to get your roll on and get crunk. You are the shooter rolling the dice and an immediate winning roll is a 7 or 11. If you roll a 2, 3 or 12, you “crap out,” or lose automatically. If you roll one of the other numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10), you keep rolling until you roll that number again, which is called the “pass-line point.” If that happens, the goal is to avoid rolling a 7 on any of the next rolls. To win, you have to match the pass-line point before a 7 comes up. For example, if you first roll a 5, you keep rolling until you hit a 5 again, and if you roll a 7 before a 5, you lose. The other players bet either that you match your pass-line point or that you won’t. Some players bet with the shooter and it’s considered dirty play to bet against the shooter, especially if they’re on a hot streak.

Keno

If you need a break without breaking your budget, keno is a good option and the payouts are usually larger than bingo. The object of the game is to choose one or more numbers from a field of 1-80 that match the numbers drawn. Payouts vary according to your matches, how much you bet, and whether you bet at a regular or special rate. You can usually choose between 1 and 15 numbers per game, and 20 of the 80 game numbers are pulled, so you only have to match 15 of the 20 to win the jackpot, which can be upwards of $10,000 all the way to $1 million.

Bingo

Bingo has a high house advantage but is still good if you need a break from the fast-paced action of the casino floor. The object of the game is to match randomly drawn numbers that are called out to the numbers on your bingo card in a certain pattern. Depending on that specific game, you might be playing for a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line. Other games include four corners (of the card) or a butterfly pattern. If you aren’t playing electronically, you use a “dabber,” similar to a brightly-colored highlighter, to mark the corresponding numbers on your card. The field is 1-75 and you have 25 spaces on your card, 24 random numbers and a free space in the middle. Numbers 1-15 are in the “B” column, 16-30 in the “I” column, 31-45 in the “N” column, and so forth. When you win, holla out “Bingo!”
